Is a mortality (death) cover on insured animals. Extensions can be bought to cover theft and transit risks of insured animals.

Covered animals include:
I. Cattle-beef and dairy
II. Pigs
III. Poultry
IV. Sheep and goats
V. Emerging livestock(e.g. rabbits)

Causes of death covered:
I. Diseases, including epidemics
II. Accidents
III. Emergency slaughter on medical grounds
IV. Fire
V. Theft-as an extension
VI. Transit- as an extension
